Roma graduated from the Modern Theatre Dance department in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In the fall of 2012 she studied for a semester at the Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College NY and met the New York City dance scene. In Amsterdam she started her own collective HET WAT (THE WHAT) with people from different artistic disciplines, making multi collaborative performances in which light, sound, video and dance come together as one. In her visits to the city after graduation she joined the DanceAction workshop and got excited about this specific way of creating movement. After joining a couple of rehearsals for Measure she felt very lucky to be given the chance to be also a part of this performance in the spring of 2014.
