Susan Steinman
Susan is an East Harlem based dancer and computer programmer. She has had the honor of performing regionally and internationally with such artists as Jen Harmon, the Limon Institute, the Center for Contemporary Opera, Racoco Productions, Eva Dean Dance, and Illuminations Dance Company. She joined DanceAction for the project BMH, presented at Center for Performance Research on January 2018. Susan's choreography has been performed at Jennifer Muller/The Works (NY, NY), Paradise Factory (NY, NY), Iona College (New Rochelle, NY), Educational Center for the Arts (New Haven, CT), Greenspace (LIC, NY) and Temescal Arts Center (Berkeley, CA). She has taught workshops for dancers and non-dancers at Harvard, Yale, Sacred Heart University, and the Coleman School of Dance. Susan sings with the Manhattan Choral Ensemble, tutors bar/bat mitzvah students, rides a bike, and likes snacks.
