Thomas is a dancer and teacher. He was born and raised in Michigan, and his background includes modern dance, piano performance, and studio art. Bond completed an MA in performance studies from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he conducted an ethnographic study of dance sites in Detroit, Michigan. He also studied psychology and dance at Michigan State University. Bond has worked with Chris Masters Dance, Dance to the People, Estado Flotante, Neshamah, Sarah Berges Dance, MoveWorks, and Notes in Motion Outreach Dance Theatre. He is also an early education teacher at Maple Street School in Brooklyn.
